Straight Up Social is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our website, and newsletters,and those providing contact information. In addition, Straight Up Social is opposed to unauthorized commercial e-mail delivery, otherwise known as spam.

How Your Personal Information May Be Used

At Straight Up Social we use affiliate marketing programs to monetize our website.

These programs allow third parties to track where clicks to their websites are coming from. These third parties can pay affiliates like me (StraightUpSocial.com), a commission for any sales resulting from the referral traffic.

StraightUpSocial.com participates in a few affiliate programs such as Canva and SEMRush. The presence of affiliate links is disclosed on relevant pages and posts, but it is safe to assume links on this website are affiliate links.

I only promote products and services that I personally like and believe my clients would benefit from.

You are not required to click on any affiliate links to access my content, but if you do, you may be contributing to my affiliate earnings.

Tracking: Straight Up Social uses various marketing tools that help us create a better user experience for people visiting our site. These tools allow us to look at aggregated data such as scrolling patterns and clicks, as well as run tests to determine which pages result in the best actions. However, your personally identifiable information is not used by any of these tools. We use the following third-party service providers for tracking: Google Analytics: Privacy Policy.

Remarketing: Straight Up Social uses remarketing tracking cookies and conversion pixels from vendors such as Google and Facebook to present special offers to you for our products or services over the Google Content Network and via social networks. This means you may see an ad for one of our products or services as a result of visiting our website. In addition, Straight Up Social uses custom audiences based on e-mails of subscribers and customers. This allows us to present special offers for our products and services to you via Facebook. However, your personally identifiable information is not used by any remarketing service other than to present you special offers from us. Contact Information and Website Support: We offer multiple ways to contact Straight Up Social including contact forms, emails and chats. Newsletters: Straight Up Social uses MailChimp as its e-mail service provider. MailChimp collects contact information, distributes our newsletter and tracks actions you take that assist us in measuring the performance of the website and newsletters. You may view (MailChimp). At any time, you may be removed from our newsletter list by clicking on the unsubscribe button provided in each e-mail.

Purchases: Straight Up Social uses PayPal and Wave Accounting to service payments for most purchases of meetings and services. Wave collects personal information such as your name, e-mail address, address and payment information. You may view Wave’s Privacy Policy.

Straight Up Social also uses PayPal. This service stores your name, amount of your purchase, and payment details on their site. You may view PayPal’s Privacy Policy.

Upon making a payment, you will receive e-mail confirmations to the e-mail address you provide during your purchase.

Webinars: Straight Up Social hosts webinars, which are hosted through Zoom or GoogleMeets. If you elect to participate in a webinar, you will be required to submit personal information to register and log in. You may also receive e-mail communications regarding reminders and playback availability.

Children’s Information

Straight Up Social does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. Spam Policy

Straight Up Social is strongly opposed to spam. We will only send e-mail to users that have explicitly requested to receive an e-mail from Straight Up Social. Examples may include:

  • Opt-in subscribers to the Straight Up Social Newsletter
  • Users that complete a contact form
  • All communication will be related and relevant to what you have requested.

Occasionally, Straight Up Social contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Straight Up Social is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other sites. This Privacy and Spam Policy applies solely to information collected by Straight Up Social.

Terms & Conditions

Social Media Services:
All Social media service packages require a 4-6 month commitment depending on the contract terms established and can be renewed quarterly. Straight Up Social will provide an invoice for payment in advance of each month of service. Payments must be made via credit card or ACH payment 7 days prior to the first of the month until the termination date. The contract may be terminated with 30 days by written notice of either party.

One-on-One Consulting Sessions:
Note that time slots are at a premium and are often booked days or weeks in advance. If you reschedule, you are essentially taking two time slots. If you cancel, that spot is often not fillable at the last minute.

As a result, appointments cannot be rescheduled, and cancellations will not be refunded. If a new time is needed, payment will be required for that second meeting time as well.
